Due to safety reasons, we do not recommend refilling your jar more than two times due to increased risk of breakage and glass fatigue. Therefore, every third delivery we will ship you a new candle and jar. By default we will send one of our white glass jars but please get in touch if you would like to request our black glassware option.

hi, the wooden wick did not burn well at all .... had to melt it down and put a new wooden wick ( that i found in spotlight ) in it , is still not ideal .... I do hope the next refill will work better.. Despite what I did with handling the glass jar carefully, the sides have scratched.
Firstly, thank you very much for reaching out and I'm really sorry to hear about the issues you are having with your candles. Being a natural-based product, we do on very rare occasions encounter faulty wicks and sadly I think we have encountered a small cluster of these as you are the second customer we have heard from recently with similar issues. Because they are made of wood, sometimes the slightest error in trimming by our manufacturer or a variation in the natural oils in the wood can cause the flame to burn low and struggle to hold. Unfortunately, most of these wick variations are not possible to pick up by eye and occasionally slip through the cracks. Low burning flames lead to slow melt pool formation which ultimately leads to tunnelling and a drowning candle wick which we certainly don't want! The only other possibility is that the wick isn't trimmed to the correct height for it to burn optimally and may need a little trim. However, as you are a regular burner who is used to our candles for many years I suspect this is not the case. Our candle refills are only suitable for use in candles that have burned down evenly without tunnelling (wax stuck to the sides of the jar). Refilling a tunnelled candle is near impossible as the wax won't cleanly soak off the jar and usually would require aggressive scrubbing and scraping to remove, resulting in damage to the jar. I have just sent you an email to further discuss this and get to the bottom of the issue and organise a replacement candle for you immediately. Again, I'm really sorry you aren't able to enjoy your beautiful candles the way you should but please be assured we will get the issue resolved for you as soon as possible!
