Kelly’s relationship with fragrance runs deep. She always remembers a face by their personal, or home fragrance. “A smell remembers when…” she often says, reflecting her belief that scent is a signature - something you can’t see, but always leaves a lasting impression. This passion for scent has been a constant in her life, and she’s thrilled to now infuse it into her work at Nevé.
Growing up by the sea in Dunedin and later settling in Christchurch, Kelly’s life has always been filled with rich experiences and close connections. Married to Bryce, she’s a proud mum to two boys and her two adored dogs, Kenny (yes, Kenny Rogers!) and Dixie (Dixie Chicks, naturally). A lover of chocolate, colour, and all things fashion, Kelly brings a vibrant energy to everything she does. Whether she’s discovering a new foodie hotspot or soaking up her favorite country tunes, she’s all about living life with joy and authenticity.
Professionally, Kelly’s background in Quality Control, as well as her experience running startups and businesses have equipped her with a meticulous eye for detail and a flair for creativity. Taking the reins of Nevé is both a challenge and an opportunity she’s embracing wholeheartedly. “I’m so excited to get my senses flowing again,” she says, “and to create beautiful signatures for others, while dreaming up new ranges that reflect the beauty of life’s little moments.”
In a world that often moves too fast, Kelly is an advocate for self-care - whether it’s through lighting a candle and savoring the quiet moments or simply being present. “Burning the candle at both ends no longer works for me,” she shares. “But lighting the candle, sitting down, and truly taking everything in? That’s my love language now.”
As she steps into this new chapter with Nevé, Kelly is ready to honor the legacy of the brand while infusing it with her own sense of passion and creativity. She’s already dreaming up ways to bring you closer to the scents that will make your spaces feel like home, your moments feel unforgettable, and your stories feel beautifully told.
